With ISO 27001 certification, Compano demonstrates that it has a well-organized management system for information security. This ISO working method is assessed annually by an independent party (TÜV), which guarantees that everything is properly secured and that Compano stands for professional service.

Escrow arrangement

An escrow arrangement stipulates that the software developer deposits the source code with an independent third party. This escrow agent takes custody of the source code, performs checks, and requests updates. In the event of the developer's bankruptcy, the user can claim the code through their escrow rights. This allows the user to take care of maintenance and (further) development themselves or have it done for them.

Data centers & Back-up

Compano's servers are located in two secure data centers in Groningen and Arnhem. This ‘dual’ setup facilitates server maintenance and guarantees the continuity of Compano's services, even in the event of an emergency. In addition, daily backups of the data are made, limiting any potential data loss.
